Editorial: GamblingPlanet Guide to Bingo Card Game

With so many different gambling games to choose from, especially card games, many players opt for the more popular games, such as blackjack, poker or baccarat. However, a different kind of card game is making its way to a few internet casinos and online gambling sites. This game puts a twist on some traditional games, but will have the winner shouting, "Bingo!"

Bingo Card Game: The Deal

While many players understand how to play the traditional Bingo game, this version involves a standard deck of fifty-two cards and more closely resembles casino games like Texas Holdem or Omaha. In the Bingo Card game, after each player posts an ante bet, they each receive five cards. Then the dealer deals five cards in the middle of the table, face down, that everyone can use.

Betting

The dealer turns over the first card and, if any player has cards of the same rank, they discard them. The first round of betting in the bingo game starts after the dealer reveals the first card. Once the players finish their betting, the dealer reveals the second card, players discard any card of a matching rank to that card, and the betting process continues.

Scoring

After dealer turns over all the cards on the table, any players with cards remaining in their hands reveal them. Like many card games, the cards carry point values according to their rank. Each numbered card has a point value equal to its number. Unlike casino games like blackjack, each face card and ace carries a different value.

This Bingo game values Jacks at eleven points each, queens at twelve and kings as thirteen. Like blackjack, the ace in a Bingo card game can be valued as high (fifteen points) or low (one point), depending on the agreement between the players.

Bingo Card Game: High/Low

Player familiar with gambling games such as Omaha and Seven Card Stud understand the "high/low" variations of these famous internet casino games. In these card games, the "high hand" wins half the pot and the "low hand" wins the other half.

In the Bingo card game, the "high hand" is the hand with the highest point value, while the "low hand" is the hand with the lowest point value. A player can also win the "low hand" if he does not have any cards remaining after the fifth betting round.

Sixty-Six Bingo

One of these online gambling games uses a different variation on these rules called "sixty-six bingo". In this version, each player receives six cards, with six cards laid out facedown on the table. After the players make their ante bets, the dealer turns over the first two cards and the first betting round begins. Another betting round happens after the dealer reveals second two cards, then after the final two cards.

Conclusion

Bingo Card GameWhile this Bingo game has not yet reached the heights of popularity at many internet casino sites, players can still enjoy it in both live home games and at some online gambling websites. The game makes for fun, exciting one-on-one match-ups and some intense competition.
