CryptoLogic Signs With Kurastica

05-Oct-2008, 23:17

Dublin-based Gambling software developer CryptoLogic Ltd. announced Thursday that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Commonwealth of Independent States firm Kurastica.

In a press release, CryptoLogic called Kurastica a “spin-off” of an unnamed international Internet-gambling operator localized in Russia, The Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia and Byelorussia—among others. The company said that their software would be available on Kurastica’s sites as early as the first quarter of 2009.

Terms of the “multi-year, multimillion-dollar” deal were not discussed in the release, but Justin Thouin, Vice President of CryptoLogic’s Product Management and Business Development said, “This break- through into the C.I.S. is another clear demonstration of our success in adapting CryptoLogic’s software for different customers, different players and different markets.”
